Evan Whetter has been nominated for “Song of The Year” at the Australian Blues Awards (2015), his band Lazy Eye won “Best Group of the Year” twice at the same awards (2015 & 2019). Evan’s albums have debuted at No1# on the Australian Roots and Blues Airplay Charts in 2015 & 2019 along with other albums that have charted in the top 10. Evan has also recorded on albums for ARIA winners The Hilltop Hoods. Evan is one of the owners and teachers at You Can Play Music and his music education experience spans over 20 years. Evan is a dynamic speaker who shares his real world experience as a song writer and performer with a sense of fun for all ages.
Ella & Sienna are impressive young song writers and performers who are producing work way beyond their age. They have received accolades from the prestige’s Tamworth Country Music Festival, and have performed with Australian icon Kasey Chambers. The sisters have won many music competitions; their most recent achievement is finalist for Folk Alliance Australia, “Youth Folk Artist of the Year” (2021). Ella teaches vocals and guitar at You Can Play Music. Ella & Sienna are a vibrant musical partnership; they are excited to be sharing their experience of the song writing process, inspiring for all ages.
