Mario Marino is one of those rare musicians who combine technical skill with great feel, making him one of Australia’s most popular drummers. Mario has toured with bands both nationally and internationally with whom he has won many awards. He has represented the Adelaide Roots & Blues Association (ARBA) twice at the International Blues Challenge which is held every year in Memphis Tennessee. Mario is a graduate of the Elder conservatorium and lectures at The Adelaide College of Arts. Mario has a deep understanding and passion for drumming and its role in contemporary music.
